What is a cake pop?
Our cake pops are hand-rolled from moist, made-from-scratch cake mixed with a touch of creamy frosting and served on a lollipop stick.
What flavors do you offer?
Our cake pops are available in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry or lemon flavors. Each pop is hand dipped in a chocolate or vanilla-flavored coating. The vanilla-flavored coating comes in a wide variety of colors. Toppings include jimmies/sprinkles, sugar crystals, chocolate chips, coconut and cookie crumbles.
How much do your cake pops cost?
Our basic cake pops are $2 each. Custom-designed cake pops are priced higher, depending on the ingredients and the time required to create them. For shipped orders, we require a minimum order of one dozen.
What forms of payment do you accept?
For local deliveries, we accept cash or a personal check. We also accept credit cards or direct electronic payments through Pay Pal.
Do you hand deliver your cake pops?
Yes, we offer free delivery for orders of a dozen or more in Charlottesville and in the Virginia counties of Albemarle, Augusta and Nelson.
How should I store my cake pops?
Our cake pops will stay fresh at room temperature for about a week. They can be stored in the refrigerator for a few weeks or in the freezer for a few months. We think they taste best at room temperature. We individually wrap each of our cake pops to preserve freshness.
How far in advance do I need to order?
All of our cake pops are made to order by hand. If we have a fresh supply of cake pops in stock, we will fill your order on the same day. For custom orders, we require at least 48 hours notice, sometimes longer, depending on the size of the order and the work required to create the cake pops.
What is your shipping policy?
We can ship anywhere in the U.S. We normally ship via USPS Priority Mail, which generally delivers in 1-3 days. If you require faster deliver, we can offer express shipping. For shipped orders, we require a minimum order of one dozen cake pops. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Do you sell your cake pops wholesale?
Yes, Pop Art by Ally’s kitchen is certified by the Virginia Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, which means we can sell our cake pops to retail businesses through Virginia.
Are there nut ingredients in your cake pops?
Other than offering coconut toppings, we do not use any tree nut ingredients or tree nut oils in our cake pop recipes. However, we cannot guarantee that the supplies we purchase have not come in contact with tree nuts. If you have a severe allergy to tree nuts, we recommend that you purchase from a certified tree nut-free facility.
